WHY IS OUR MISSION IMPORTANT?
Hillfields is an underserved community with high levels of deprivation.
The Library space is only open three days a week and is one of the least used in the city.

WHAT HAVE WE ACHIEVED SO FAR?
We have previously organised a series of free events, groups and workshops: Theatre Show, Lego Club and Lantern Making Workshops as well as liaising with the local school for an after-school club.
We ran a very successful Welcome Space last winter (2022/23) and currently run a weekly over 60 group called Silver Explorers and monthly Lego and Duplo group.
We hope our efforts will encourage more people to become aware of and as a result, use the library more often.
